HOSPITALITY SUNDAY

Volunteers are needed to help serve coffee and donuts on Hospitality Sunday, which is held the
third Sunday of every month. It only takes about an hour after one of the Sunday masses and is
a great way to help build community at Nativity.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL
It's a fun, free social event for the whole parish, but we need you to make it happen. Help at
the summer ice cream social by assisting with an activity. No experience necessary. Adults,
teens and families are welcome to help. Watch for sign-up sheets available 2-3 weeks prior to
the event. Families need to sign up early to insure you can work together.

Nativity of Our Lord Council # 10961. A fraternal service organization of Catholic gentlemen
whose precepts involve charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Activities are in the area of
youth, community, church, council and fraternity. Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of
each month at 7:00 p.m. in Weibel 1 < 2.

(i.e., books, audio books, videos, and music CDs) and treat yourself to a few quiet moments
or checkout an item to take home. The library is located just next to the gym and is open
every Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; and Monday through Friday during Parish Office hours.

RESPECT LIFE

unborn, elderly, sick, and helpless of our society. Through education, prayer, and service,
this committee hopes to make a difference in the lives of the needy in our community and in

ST. PATRICK'S DAY DINNER/DANCE
This is an evening social event to get together with other parishioners and friends. We decorate
the hall and provide a home cooked meal of corned beef and cabbage with all the trimmings. We
also provide turkey for those who don't like corned beef. Irish dancers, music and dancing, and
door prizes are all part of this fun event. Volunteers always welcome.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

An outreach program of the community, members of the Society visit the homes of those in need
to assess the problems and determine how our parish community can help...food, clothing, housing,
services and in some cases finances. They are fully supported through contributions to the
"poor boxes".

SCRIP

SCRIP is a continuing program that supports the school financially by selling certificates
for many local and national merchants and may be used at any location of that store name.
Merchants donate to Nativity for every certificate sold. SCRIP is easy to purchase and is
available every weekend after Mass and weekdays after school. One can assist by either
purchasing certificates or assisting with sales.

SOUP KITCHEN

Nativity of Our Lord volunteers assist at the Catholic Worker Soup Kitchen located at the
St. Francis Center on the fifth Wednesday of each month. Meet at the Parish Center no later
than 2:00 p.m. and return approximately 5:00 p.m.
