ALTAR SERVERS

An Altar Server has the privilege of assisting the priest and deacon during the mass. There are many great responsibilities that come with this ministry. Those who accept the call to this ministry are presumed to be responsible individuals to be present when scheduled and prepared to demonstrate their faith and eager to serve the Nativity family and community.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS

Distributes the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Must be a confirmed, registered member of the parish in good standing. Ministers should show a sense of reverence for the Eucharist and have a sense of presence to others. Commitment is for 3 years, but may suspend services by personal request. Training and mandated required.

GREETERS

Greet all who enter our church to worship at Mass, to help strengthen Nativity’s community spirit by affirming our regular parishioners, and by making newcomers and visitors feel welcome.

USHERS

Ushering is more than taking up the collection – it's an important ministry that includes being a greeter, assisting parishioners in finding seats, and keeping isles clear for safety reasons. Ushers also help parishioners with special requests. Volunteers are always needed. Call today to assist at your Mass of choice (including LifeTeen).
